Devotion
Before the construction of the grand Shri Ram Temple on VIP Road in Raipur, a student hostel and a Vedic school were being operated at the site. Nandan Jain was entrusted with the responsibility of serving as the secretary of both these projects, along with managing a cow shelter (gaushala). Nandan Jain efficiently handled all these responsibilities and worked towards further improving them. It was in this very place that Nandan Jain later conceptualized the plan for the grand Shri Ram Temple.
The grand Shri Ram Temple on VIP Road in Raipur, as we see it today, owes its conception and construction to Nandan Jain, who played a pivotal role from its initial vision to its realization. In 2003, Nandan Jain envisioned building the Ram Temple in Raipur. The idea first took root in his mind when he visited Ayodhya and saw Lord Ram Lalla residing under a tent. Deeply moved by this sight, and troubled by the questions surrounding Lord Ram's existence at the time, Nandan Jain made a resolution to establish a magnificent temple in Chhattisgarh, the maternal home of Lord Ram and his mother, Kaushalya, as a stronghold of Sanatan faith.
